College Recruiting & Internships
What Can I Expect as an Intern with Saunders Construction, Inc.?
Saunders Construction, Inc. provides college students with the opportunity to participate in either a three month or six month internship, which are offered to students year round. All interns are hired into positions as Field Engineers or Office Engineers. Throughout the internship period with Saunders, students are encouraged to perform many of the same duties as our salaried employees in these positions. Each intern is paired with a mentor for the duration of their internship period. During the program, each student is asked to complete a set of scheduled goals and objectives, reviews, and follow-ups. In addition, each student will participate in a mid-term and final review with their mentor. During these reviews, students are encouraged to openly communicate with their mentor about skills they have developed and skills that they have not had direct exposure to but would like to learn on the job. We believe this involvement helps to develop our program.
